Switching to J Gas

In April 2009, the Competition Commission introduced changes to the UK LPG market designed to improve the switching process for domestic customers, and we've ensured our business practices have followed suit.

So whether you're considering using bulk tank LPG for the first time or looking to move from your existing energy supplier, switching to J Gas is hassle-free.

How to switch from your current supplier

1. Get in touch with us Call 0845 450 3121 to discuss switching to bulk gas LPG from J GAS.
2. Quotation and Acceptance Subject to a site survey being carried out by one of our Sales Engineers to ensure that your vessel complies with tank and installation standards as outlined in the UKLPG's Code of Practice, J Gas will provide a quotation for the supply of LPG based on your tank size, estimated annual usage and location. We will then provide you with required documentation to enable the switch and to set up your J GAS account.
3. We will contact your existing supplier J Gas will contact your existing supplier on receipt of your completed Supplier Switch Notice (SSN1) form to let them know that you are switching.
4. You're now a J Gas customer Our Customer Service team will contact you to confirm that the "Switch" has been completed and to discuss your supply requirements. In addition, one of our Engineers will also visit your property to update signage and carry out a safety check on the installation.
